Come join Cameron L. Jackson for the official release of his newest book: Sunny’s Mercenary. The Event of The Fall will be taking place on Friday, October 3rd at 5pm and YOU ARE INVITED! Free Entry, of course.

We’ve collaborated with Weber State University to bring theatrical performances based on the book as well as fencing and swing dancing. There’s fun for everyone, even the kids! If you have young ones to bring, there’s a community chalk contest children of all ages.

Guinness World Record?

That’s not the last of it either. We’re also attempting to break a Guinness World Record at this Book Launch Event. We’ll be attempting to break the record for the World’s Largest Balloon Sword Fight. We’re providing the swords, you just need to bring your sword skills. Come be apart of this historic occasion and cross blades with the best in balloon sword business. If you’ve ever wanted to be apart of a world record or a grand battle, just like in your favorite book, come join us for this fantastic event!

Food and Vendors

Don’t worry about getting hungry. We’ve thought of that too. Texas Road House and been kind enough to provide their amazing bread rolls to everyone at the event, FREE! And, if your not satisfied with just that, we’re lining up as many vendors as we can find to bring to you a Grand Gathering of local shops, artists, eateries, and many more.

Community Art Contest!

It’s not just all fun and games. There’s also a healthy dose of competition coming to this Launch Party. If you’re an artist, get your art supplies and your imagination ready because we have Illustration Art Contest coming to this event.

Do you love creating images from the scenes you’ve read in a book? Never tried it before? Doesn’t matter if you’re a master or a complete amateur, all are invited to join this Illustration Contest to see what your made up. We’re providing you with a pre-release peak at a scene from the book and you’ll be drawing what you read.
